SRT2AE

Say hello to SRT2AE - a nifty tool designed to simplify your subtitles workflow in After Effects!

With SRT2AE, you can directly import any subtitles generated with Premiere Pro into After Effects. This allows you to apply dynamic text animations to your videos and create engaging content like never before.

Here's how it works:

1. In Premiere Pro, nest the part you'd like to transcribe to avoid timestamp issues when using the .SRT in After Effects.
2. Transcribe the text. (Tip: Try doing it in "single lines" with a maximum length of 8 characters for best results).
3. Export to an .SRT file and save it anywhere you want.
4. Open the SRT2AE script in After Effects (you can easily access it from your script panel or KBar).
5. Click on "remove punctuation" to get rid of any periods or commas.
6. Locate and select the .SRT file you created earlier. Voila! All your text is perfectly aligned in your composition.
